About us

Seventh-Day Adventist Logo and its symbols

We are Seventh-Day Adventists, known for our sabbath (day of rest) to be Saturdays. We are also known as people who don’t ingest unclean animals or other harmful substance because we believe that our body is GOD’s temple, and we should take good care of it. Lastly, we are also known for waiting and preparing for the second coming of our savior, one of which is by keeping God’s commandments.

We are founded by Ellen Gould White, an individual who received God’s interpretation of His message through the three angels that He sent.

This church is a part of the Lower Cavite District and is located at 86 Bayanan Street, Bacoor City, Cavite, Philippines.

Our very first church was at the home of Mrs. Consolacion Vizcarra Torres. One day, Pastor Abraham Constatino and Mr. Ely Cuevas approached Mrs. Torres to assist in conducting a bible study for Bayanan, which lasted for months. In 1964, the first baptized Bayanan members were Mrs Torres’ son, Mr. Efren Boy Vizcarra, then followed by Mr. Gregorio Papa after a couple of months. Mrs. Torres then decided to move to a more permanent place to build a church, so she purchased and donated a lot to the Central Luzon Mission on the 23rd of March 1968. A small church was constructed and began its first service with 38 founding members on the 18th of May 1968, which was blessed by Pastor Ignacio Hernando. Its membership then grew with the arrival of Mr. Romeo Doctolero, Mr. Danilo Hernandez, and Mr. Joe Palmado. To accommodate all the members, they then decided to renovate the church to its current state.

We have grown significantly since then, and some of our older members were even inspired to produce more Adventist Churches in the area due to the increasing number of our memberships.

Now our church has more than 300 members, and we are still growing much stronger through GOD’s grace!!!
